Final illustration of the three part special coverage on  #plansponsor . Concept of presenting and getting everyone onboard. I love trying out new angles, especially a top down view of people as it makes them look cuter and more lively. Being an illustrator, especially in the early stages of this career, is a constant struggle with figuring out and refining one's style. I think it's almost like trying to come up with a whole new language - one that others can understand but at the same time sounds unique in its own way. Anyways, it's tough, but I'm trying to enjoy the process. Happy weekend!

본인의 꿈을 찾아 과감히 진로를 변경하여 San Franciso Academy of Art University 대학원에 입학 ,

드디어 3년만에 졸업한다.

특별히 아빠로서 지원해준 것도 없고 또 한 가정을 꾸려나가는 것도 힘이 들었을텐데 많은 난관을 극복하고 이제는

IT 가 아닌 다른 분야의 전문가로서의 출발을 축하한다.

그동안 여기저기 일거리도 많이 들어와서 바쁘다고 하는데 요즈음은 이런 일러스트레이션에 대한 수요가 많아

이 분야의 미래가 밝다고 하는데 아무튼 멋진 성공을 기원한다.

그동안 딸아이가 인스타에 올린 그림을 올려왔는데 어디까지 했는지 잘 기억도 나지 않아 최근 작품 몇개 캡쳐해서

올린다.

I changed the design of the structure around quite a bit, looking at multiple reference photos of unique architectural structures. What to do if you're in two different worlds.

Random doodles in between work. Trying to take it slow while I figure out my next steps. I can't believe the year is coming to an end. Well, I can't even believe that it's been 4 years since I first started art school right before the pandemic. Time just flies, so we do need to take a little break once in a while.

The Beauty of a Silent Walk." . . Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday! I spent a week and Canada and though I had a great time, I'm now coughing like crazy. But I did really enjoy making this piece. We all need a silent walk to clear our head from time to time. .

Halloween is still many months away but I've been working on some pieces for my children's book portfolio and here's one from a series about five girls who go trick or treating and end up at a house occupied by the real witch

Summer is here and as usual, I'm off to Korea to spend a month catching up with my family and friends. I'll also be in Tokyo for a week as well so I'm super excited for this trip!
