(유화) 포천 내4리 조용한 마을에서

어제 내린 비로 나뭇잎들이 깨끗하게 햇빛에 반짝이고 있다.

공기는 청량하지만 꽤나 무더운 날.. 포천 내4리라고 조용한 마을을 찾아간다.

한동안 그림의 방향을 찾지 못해 해메고 있는데 전에 읽었던 책에서 subject 보다는 theme을 생각하라는 가르침을 

생각한다.

이런 조용한 시골 마을에서 나는 무슨 theme을 찾을까..조용함, 안온함, 평안함, 여름의 생동감....

Why I paint ?

For me, painting is a spiritual, emotional and meditative connection with Mother Nature.

Just mixing paint, seeing the interaction of color combinations, is pleasurable.

I have always felt an inherent need to express myself in pictures and colors.
